Weatherford

There is no town like Weatherford. Small town feel, large town conveniences. Our ever growing community is only half an hour from Fort Worth which makes it an ideal spot for commuters and those looking to live just outside of the metroplex. Each year, Weatherford is host to the famous Peach Festival. It is also known as the Cutting Horse Capital of the world. With at least seven city parks and playgrounds, a couple of intricate walking trail systems, the beautiful and historic Chandor Gardens, a dog park, and even a disc golf course, entertainment and opportunities to be active are abundant. Film Alley offers dine-in movies, an arcade and bowling. Weatherford Lake is easy to access for recreation and a great lake to live on. Every month, you can shop for unique and local treasures at the popular First Monday trade days at Heritage Park. Shopping and dining options are on par with most larger cities. There is a reason I call this place my home! Our schools have spirit, our people have pride, and our town is full of history! I encourage you to visit Weatherford if you are trying to decide where to buy your next home.
