Mineral Wells reminds me of a small mountain town, the views and the atmosphere. I love driving into town from Weatherford. The winding roads, the hills, the trees and ranches. Clark Gardens nearby is a beautiful place to spend a Saturday afternoon or to host reception. Mineral Wells State Park is right down the road for the outdoors and adventure lovers. There are a few lakes nearby for boating, fishing, swimming and getting away from it all. The outlet malls are a convenient and affordable place to get your school shopping done. There are several yummy restaurants and more coming in all of the time. Once looked at as inferior to some other towns around, the persistence and pride of those who love Mineral Wells has prevailed and this little town is making a come-back. The main street businesses have mostly been renovated and now that the Baker Hotel is being brought back to life, there is no doubt that the town known for its crazy water will not stop. The real estate market reflects the growth and excitement to come. It is a great time to buy now, as you will most certainly see a return in your investment if you sell later. Or buy now, and stay forever. It is an easy commute to Weatherford, Stephenville or Jacksboro and 50 miles to downtown Fort Worth.
